# Installing

> Drop in the folder, add one line to server.cfg. No dependencies.

## 1. Put the folder in place

Drop the `nobit_pool` folder into your server's `resources` directory. A bracket folder such as `[standalone]` is fine too.

> [!WARNING]
> Do not rename the folder. It must stay exactly **`nobit_pool`**.

## 2. Start it

Add this line to your `server.cfg`:

```
ensure nobit_pool
```

## 3. Restart the server

Start the server, or type `ensure nobit_pool` in the server console if it is already running. Walk up to any pool table in the world and the table menu appears.

There is nothing to build or download separately. The animations ship inside the resource.

## Requirements

* Any FiveM server. No framework, no database, no other resources.
* Works the same on ESX, QBCore, Qbox or no framework at all.

## Next steps

* Check the distances, shot clock and keys in [Configuration](/docs/pool/configuration).
* No pool table where you want one? See [Adding tables](/docs/pool/tables).
